Malunya Malaysia! (Shame for Malaysia!)

Malunya Malaysia! (Shame for Malaysia!)
When Singapore opted (some say it was kicked out by Malaysia) to separate from Malaysia on Aug 9, 1965, many opined that the island state would not survive.

They say Singaporeans would cry and beg to return to Malaysia because the island republic had zero natural resources.

Malaysia was blessed with rich natural resources, namely tin, rubber, oil palm and even oil and gas.

Some five decades after, Singapore has overtaken Malaysia by leaps and bounds in terms of economy and technology. It is also a world financial centre.

“And today (Tuesday Dec 12) Singapore launched its first large-scale electric car-sharing programme,” Gerakan Deputy Speaker Syed Abdul Razak Alsagoff said.

“Electric cars (EVs)? Car-sharing to reduce traffic? Where is Malaysia?

“I doubt the Transport Ministry even knows the the reality of electric vehicles and the evolving global motor industry,” he added.

Help reduce the pain and sufferings of abused children

Help reduce the pain and sufferings of abused children
Malaysians welcome the setting up of a special criminal court to hear sexual crimes against children in every state by the end of next year.

It is a timely move to treat such heinous crimes seriously and to protect children.

“However, enforcement and prosecution are just aimed at bringing to justice such criminals,” Gerakan Deputy Speaker Syed Abdul Razak Alsagoff said.

He said all Malaysians should help to be “the eyes and ears” of communities and societies and be on the alert or lookout of suspicious situations.

“Report suspicious happenings and behaviour. Prevention is better than cure. So, save children from being abused before the crime is committed or perpetuated further.

“At least society can help reduce the pain and sufferings of children who are being abused,” he added.

Believe it or not! It’s down to 'buy one free one' for link houses in Penang!

Believe it or not! It’s down to 'buy one free one' for link houses in Penang!
It’s perhaps the first ever “buy one free one” for link houses in Malaysia and it’s happening in Penang! And it is for completed units!

You better believe it is happening and it is in Penang, coming from a reputable property developer that has projects nationwide.

“The ‘buy one free one offer’ is being promote by word of mouth in Penang. The developer is not publicly advertising, for obvious (egoistic or embarrassing) reasons,” Gerakan Deputy Speaker Syed Abdul Razak Alsagoff said.

He said the domestic and global economic slowdown had naturally created the opportunity for consumers to unite and force down property prices.

“Supply has outstripped demand. That’s the power of supply and demand, creating a glut in the property market, forcing developers to reduce prices to sell their houses,” he added.

Bad cops on the rise in Malaysia?

Bad cops on the rise in Malaysia?
Of late, there have been a growing number of cases of bad cops, including retired officers, turning to crime for a living or to help sustain their luxurious lifestyle.
If Malaysians cannot rely or trust the men in uniform to protect them from crime and criminals, who can they turn to?

“The cases of bad cops highlighted by the media is most certainly fast eroding public confidence on the Royal Malaysian Police,” Gerakan Deputy Speaker Syed Abdul Razak Alsagoff said.
He said for disciplined uniform enforcement unit members to go rogue “is no small matter or problem”.
“Something is certainly not right in the force’s administration. Perhaps the quality of police personnel and discipline needs much more attention then it is given presently,” he added.

Imagine taking a million cars off the roads in Malaysia, especially in the Klang Valley

Imagine taking a million cars off the roads in Malaysia, especially in the Klang Valley
Imagine what would Malaysia’s Klang Valley traffic be like if a million motor vehicles are taken off the roads?

It’s not an imagination as Volkswagen has pioneered a car-pooling concept plug-in electric six-seater specially and specifically designed for ride-sharing.

“This concept should attract more working commuters to ‘abandon their cars’ and opt for ride-sharing,” Gerakan Deputy Speaker Syed Abdul Razak Alsagoff said.

He said the concept should work and succeed to reduce vehicular congestion and volume in the Klang Valley “if the implementation and promotion are right”.

“There must be enough of such vehicles on the road to ensure convenience and to cater demand,” he added.

Syed Razak, who is Gerakan’s nominee to contest N.37 Bukit Lanjan in the coming 14th General Election (GE14), said the federal government should quickly adopt such innovative ideas to help solve traffic congestion woes.

“Traffic con…

China zooms ahead in e-bikes and EVs … regress for the US and Malaysia

Why is it that today’s not so mighty US automakers are struggling to remain relevant and viable in business?

Why is it that China’s automakers can continuously make progress but not the US or elsewhere?

The answer is simple. Just like Malaysia, it is linked to the oil agenda.

“In business, decisions must always be made without any other influence than innovation, superior technology and the latest,” Gerakan Deputy Speaker Syed Abdul Razak Alsagoff said.

He said the US, like Malaysia, were still resisting the advent of electric vehicles (EVs) for only one reason – oil.

“The US manipulates the global oil prices according to its bullying agenda. Malaysia needs to protect their interest of Petronas.

“Both the US and Malaysia will live to regret what they are doing by rejecting the progress of technology.

“If China has no problems embracing EVs and high technology, why can’t the US and Malaysia? E-bikes and EVs are already on t…
